Technical Editing

Revising a set of alcohol laws for clarity offered me a look into the complexities of legal language. What seemed like a routine editing job at first ended up revealing how complex and layered the legal system really is. I began to understand how even small changes in phrasing could introduce ambiguity. My goal was to make the laws more readable without compromising their integrity.

This experience taught me how to bridge the gap between clarity and accessibility. It strengthened my ability to translate complex information for broader audiences—a skill I now see as essential, not just in legal work, but in any context where technical communication can shape real-world outcomes.
