Cherub Vegan Chocolates
Branding & Business Communication
This project showcases a range of visual branding and technical communication materials created for Cherub Vegan Chocolates, an ethically sourced, handmade vegan chocolate company. The goal was to create a brand identity that both reflects the company’s values and positions it as a serious player in a competitive market.

The project began with custom visual design elements, including a logo and letterhead. Drawing inspiration from the company’s playful yet ethical ethos, I designed a cherub illustration that brings retro whimsy to the branding while maintaining a polished, professional look that is suitable for corporate communications. The design balances fun and sophistication, mirroring the brand’s commitment to both high-quality products and ethical sourcing.

Beyond the visual elements, the project also involved producing several pieces of professional writing:

A company announcement introducing virtual conferencing.

A persuasive memo encouraging employee participation in a blood drive.

A tactful message addressing employees about an unsuccessful televised investment pitch.​
The final piece was a business proposal outlining investment opportunities, budget allocation, growth strategies, and an implementation plan. This component allowed me to practice persuasive communication in a business context, focusing on clear, actionable steps while also presenting the company’s vision for the future.

Overall, this project not only strengthened my ability to create compelling visual identities but also honed my skills in strategic communication, persuasion, and rhetoric. Each piece of this project reflects a different aspect of communication—whether engaging employees, conveying the brand’s personality, or presenting complex business strategies—giving me a well-rounded experience in both creative and professional communication.
